Grand Canyon National Park Helicopter Tours

Maverick is right at the North Entrance to the Airport. The crew at thee desk and the pilot were very helpful, professional and courteous. The flight was smooth and the space in the helicopter was more than sufficient. the 45minute flight is the one I recommend everyone. I am severely handicapped and they took me (others don't), so Maverick is the company to choose.

We had a great pilot/guy take us on our tour over the canyon. What an amazing experience and really fun. He shared lots of interesting facts with us and showed us things. You could never see at eye level.

Very professionally organized and conducted tour – the processing and support before the helicopter takeoff already went smoothly and was well organized. The flight itself was breathtaking and an unforgettable experience. Our pilot provided interesting and helpful information about the sights and the surrounding area during the flight. The music selection was also particularly successful, which was perfectly tailored to the individual sections of the flight and additionally underscored the experience. Overall, an all-around successful and absolutely recommendable tour.

Don't miss it! It was a great way to see the canyon from a completely different view! I cried when I saw it's incredible beauty!

Everything is well arranged. Day vsn in advance you will be called with explanations. You will be received at a nice ranch and taken by bus to the helicopter. Enthusiastic pilot who gave good information.

My wife hates planes and had never been on a helicopter, she absolutely loved this tour. These newest advanced helicopters and their amazing pilots will make you feel at ease while having fun and teaching you everything. 10 out of 10.

We chose to include the optional hummer tour through Buck Wild Tours, and it was the perfect ending to the entire trip. We started with the helicopter tour, arriving at 10:30am for our 11am start. We were offered two front seats for an extra $50 each and chose to pay the extra. The tour started on time with our pilot Travis giving is a smooth liftoff despite the strong winds. The trip to the rim took about 5 minutes and we spent a full half hour over the canyon. I will say the audio portion was a little distorted and hard to hear but, it did not distract from the trip as Travis provided additional commentary. After the flight we went to Buck Wild Tours for the hummer portion. Our driver was Dan and he was both incredibly knowledgeable and also very professional. We instantly felt comfortable with him and talked quite a bit about the sites and also his personal experiences at the Canyon. Dan understood that we had already been on a previous ground tour so he ensured that none of our stops were repeated. Dan went so far as to take us to see some views that were off the driving tour, which, for us, became the best part of our entire trip. We highly recommend the tour and, if possible, request Dan as your guide.

Any helicopter flight is spectacular, but if it is over the Canyon, it becomes incredible. It always feels too short. The views are impressive. To be repeated a thousand times over.

It’s a once in a life time experience. You can’t imagine the size and beauty of the Grand Canyon until you experience it in the air.

It was a great experience for me and my 7 yr old grandson. It was his first time flying on a helicopter. Kacey did an amazing job of maneuvering the helicopter from takeoff , hovering over the Canyon and landing. My grandson was not afraid.

Perfect organisation and communication. The trip was one of the most impressive things I ever experienced.

Wonderful experience. Pilot was top gun! Very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon. We rode with two people from Belgium, and he spoke about distances in miles and kilometers. Brayden was awesome, and thank you for your service.
