Our trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was our guide. Out of all the guides I’ve had on different tours, this was by far the best prepared. He was like a living encyclopedia, sharing fascinating facts about the geology, history, wildlife, Native American culture, and the surrounding landscapes throughout the day.The drive never felt long because there was always something interesting to learn. Every stop came with insightful explanations that made us appreciate the Grand Canyon so much more than if we had visited on our own.If you’re looking for more than just beautiful views and want to truly understand what you’re seeing, I highly recommend this tour. The Grand Canyon is breathtaking, but having such a knowledgeable and passionate guide made the experience exceptional.

Grand Canyon day tour with Gretchen was great!
The company quickly communicated with me once I purchased to trip to give me important details. The small group experience (we only had 5 total) provided more time for stops on the way to and at the Grand Canyon and it allowed us to get all of our questions answered. Gretchen was a fantastic guide, knew all of the answers to our questions, gave "insider" info about what we were seeing, communicated clearly about where and when to meet up with her, has wonderful storytelling skills to be sure we knew the history behind what we saw, and is knowledgeable, personable, kind, and took photos for us at the various so we could be in them. The food was good and the vehicle was very comfortable. For a future tour, I'd like to go below the rim to hike and possibly take a mule down the trail inside to get even better views and to better move my body. The drive to and from Las Vegas was lengthy (4 hours each way) but well worth it. The Grand Canyon is breathtaking and unbelievable!
