David was an excellent guide and the information was mind blowing. Of course the Grand Canyon is a majestic display of God's creation but the scientific explanations made it even more awe-inspiring. The size of the group was intimate and perfect for asking questions and hearing answers. The sunset was beautiful despite the weather.

Heck yeah we absolutely loved our guide Chris, booked with The Desert Hiking Company! He regaled us with funny stories of his own experiences hiking and being out in nature, and took care to make sure everyone had an experience well-suited to their abilities. He explained the geologic history of the Grand Canyon and pointed out different types of rocks and plants along the route. Chris also prepared a delicious lunch for us at Cedar Ridge, which was much appreciated after the challenging hike. We will definitely request Chris when we return to Arizona!

There were many excellent views of the Grand Canyon. Our guide, Jerry Lefthand, was extremely knowledgeable about the Canyon and history and customs of Native Americans that live in the area. He shared many stories and even taught us some Navajo words. Very enjoyable!

Eric was a great tour guide. He had lots of interesting commentary to share and took us to some wonderful spots along the south rim. His van was clean, comfortable and well equipped. His binoculars amazing and added greatly to the tour. Dinner consisted of going to a lodge on the rim and ordering off the menu (he allowed us to spend up to $30 for dinner/drink/etc). We are glad we took Eric's tour and would recommend it.

It was a total experience! From the time we purchased the packet (3hrs) to the end of the tour was nothing less the professional and fun! Our guide, William, was a tower of information! All the most beautiful stops with all the tidbits of info he knew made it extraordinary. I highly recommend the tour... just ask for William!

We loved it! Since we only had a short time at the Canyon, this allowed us to hit the high points and get a feel for the park. Eric was great!

Maverick is right at the North Entrance to the Airport. The crew at thee desk and the pilot were very helpful, professional and courteous. The flight was smooth and the space in the helicopter was more than sufficient. the 45minute flight is the one I recommend everyone. I am severely handicapped and they took me (others don't), so Maverick is the company to choose.

Easy way to see the Grand Canyon. Tour included a very good lunch at one of the lodges. Guide, Cameron, was very knowledgeable and provided information about the canyon as well as the surrounding area.

The perfect way to experience the Grand Canyon. We had limited time and wanted to make the most of it, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. John was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip, he knows so much about the canyon, plants, animals and history, not just of the Canyon, also Arizona and the local tribes. John brought the canyon to life and made the most amazing experience magical for us all (family of four with 13 & 14 year old). He communicated with us in advance and was flexible to meet our needs, he got us off the beaten track and ensured we captured to moment. I would highly recommend using Arizona Private tours, and if we are lucky enough to ever come back I will be booking them again.
