Grand Canyon National Park Air Tours

Such a great experience to see the breathtaking Grand Canyon up close and personal! Staff was excellent at Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines, flight was smooth, landing was smooth. Would do it again in a minute!

Great and had a blast of fun. Thats all I have to say.

We had a very good experience on this tour. Our pilot, and his copilot trainee, were very friendly and helpful and made us all comfortable. We benefitted from great weather so the views from the air were phenomenal and ride wasn't too bumpy, a plus for me.Highlights for us were the plane ride and Antelope Canyon. Beautiful beyond belief with friendly pilots and a great guide for the Antelope Canyon tour.

My fiancé and I had a great time with this experience! For the most part, which I will get into monetarily. The first plane ride was beautiful and absolutely stunning! We also really loved the bus tour to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. All the guides were so friendly and helpful. We both agreed the trip was well worth the money and we had a blast. My only complaint has nothing to do with the company or the tours, but it’s more of a word of caution. If you get motion sickness, you may not be the best candidate for the plane ride. On the way up, it was colder temp (42°F or so) and there were not really any winds, so we had a smooth ride. However, on the ride back to the meetup spot, it had gotten significantly warmer to about 62°F and it was very windy. Let me tell you, this does not make for a smooth ride! This is no fault of the pilot or the company, it’s simply just how flying works. I did throw up on the way back and there was a ton of shaking in the plane. I still would recommend this experience but maybe take a Dramamine or something if you can.

An experience not to be missed. Company was exceptionally professional and provided us with a great appreciation of how vast and beautiful the Grand Canyon is. Was a better experience by far than actually going into the Park and viewing the Canyon on foot. Suggest you do this flight as a priority when visiting. And at a much more reasonable price than helicopter flights.

What an amazing perspective that is gained by having a little extra altitude! The grand canyon is breathtaking no matter how you see it, and ive been there several three times now, but taking the air tour was well worth the money and time spent. The planes have nice big windows for getting the best view possible, and all 8 of us were able to go together and we could have easily brought that many more. Quite reasonable price for such a memorable way to explore one of the 7 wonders of the world. The only caution I would give is there can be a little turbulence, as is comon on smaller aircraft, so be mindful of small children and those with a sensitive stomach, and plan to fly on at a low wind time if bringing them along. Don't think about it to long though seats fill up fast, just book and go see what im talking about.

The Lower antelope valley canyon tour is a fantastic place but not too kid friendly or for people with any ambulatory issues.

This was an incredible day. The plane ride over the canyon as the sun was rising was an incredible experience. Being able to just show up and go and this company taking care of getting us to horseshoe bend and antelope canyon was great. We just got to kick back and enjoy the day. Lunch options were turkey sandwich or veggie wrap. Water provided all day too. Would recommend someone wanting to get aerial of the canyon and not have to drive to horseshoe and antelope from south rim.

What an experience, it was a bumpy ride through the air layers but what an experience to see the mighty Grand Canyon from the air. Wow

The flight was quite turbulent due to stronger winds, but the view was amazing! Unfortunately, from takeoff to landing, it was only about 35 minutes instead of 40-45, hence only 4 points.

This 13-viewing passenger plane will have a few bumps or dips, as expected, but it gives a great variety from straight Rim views. Request to be by one of the alternating, bigger rather than smaller windows if you aim to get lots of video or photos. The high up views of both Rims and views of the little river are worth the price and bumps, too.

Exceeded my ecxpectations. They were very organized. It was very windy, but I felt like I was in great hands. And I have a fear of heights and I never looked away. There is no better way to see the Grand Canyon.

SO glad we booked this!! Beautiful view and friendly pilots. Wish audio had taught more. One of our 3 family members became ill morning of 4pm flight, so we called right away to let airline know (understanding no refund b/c within 24hrs) — remaining 2 went as scheduled . . . wish there had been some other option offered like a voucher or copy of flight video.

While visiting the Grand Canyon, we knew we wanted to do a fly over via helicopter or plane and landed on the plane option as the overall more appealing based on the experience we wanted (slightly cheaper, longer at 40ish minutes, and higher in the air). We didn’t have an advanced reservation but the checking was easy and we were able to book for the last flight of the day. Heading to checking in, we met the lead pilot Sam, who went out of his way to not only greet us, but engage in genuine conversation. What a chill and awesome dude! There wasn’t a need to ease our nerves (though he would have been fantastic at that as well) but he got us hyped for the experience, knowing it my be our only opportunity to see the canyon from this perspective. The flight itself was smooth and awe-inspiring. Walking around the rim give you a tiny idea of the canyon but there’s nothing like having a bird’s eye view. I’m SO glad we decided to splurge on this excursion and I highly recommend it. Sam and the copilot Steven did an amazing job and really helped the experience stand out. I can say enough good things about them and how they made the experience truly memorable with genuine friendliness and charm.

Absolutely worth the money spent! If you're looking to see the Grand Canyon in all its glory within 45minutes, this is your perfect opportunity. Seeing the Canyon from heights very few will get to see made this experience truly one of a kind.If you have to choose between this or the helicopter, choose this instead. Speaking from someone who has flown over Alaska in a Helicopter, nothing compares to a solo window seat in a plane. This is a much smoother/"safer" option in my opinion.VERY smooth ride. My flight from FL to AZ had more turbulence than this which was a pleasant surprise. If you're anxious in anyway, go for it!I do wish that the directions for the airport were a bit more clear as I ended up in the wrong "building/terminal". The address basically leads you to the Grand Canyon airport (which is small) but doesn't specify which building (there's about 3-4). However, the staff were helpful to wave to me from outside so I could find the correct building.Would recommend this to anyone and would do again if I wasn't solo!

Fantastic tour! Sean was very good- friendly, positive, and knowledgeable. The tour was short enough to be enjoyable, long enough to feel worth it. We would highly recommend!
